Plasma Lighting

In plasma lighting, small glass bulbs, containing gasses and salts, are targeted by a radio wave or microwave field and will start emitting light, depending on the power injected into the bulb. The emitted light spectrum is based on the mixture of the content of the bulb, but is known to be closest to natural sunlight. Replacing the former driving magnetron tube by a solid-state RF-Energy source will give much more controllability of the injected power and makes additional features like dimming possible.
