pinkRF has received a subsidy from EFRO Netherlands for the development of a pill, which reports the core body temperature of e.g. athletes to a wearable device: blueTemp.
The blueTemp project is an initiative of myTemp, pinkRF and Sencio. The blueTemp sensor enables continuous monitoring of the core body temperature with very high accuracy for a couple of hours. The temperature data measured inside the body is sent via Bluetooth to a mobile application (wearable) or a computer – hence the name. blueTemp can be used for monitoring the safety and well-being of people who are for example working in extreme temperature conditions such as soldiers, fire fighters, athletes and factory workers.
